How We Helped Our Window Cleaning Customer Prepare for Her Event
/Recently we were called out by a new customer to help her with window cleaning. When we got there, we realized she had an event scheduled for that coming weekend and was in need of some help and guidance on how to get it all done. This is what we did for her to help get her windows cleaned before her event.
Quick Estimate
As we do with all of our first time customers, we got to know about her needs so we could give her an estimate on exactly what she needed. Our front end sales process includes a mini inspection of all areas we see need cleaning, a detailed list of our recommendations with notes for our technicians and a look at when we can fit the job into our schedule.
During our inspection, we are taking a thorough look at all of the following areas to provide feedback:
- Roof
- House
- Gutters
- Pool Screen
- Pool Deck
- Covered Patios
- Wood Decks
- Docks
- Windows - including screens and tracks
- Driveways and Sidewalks
- Other related areas
Depending on how dirty we find each of these areas, we will make our recommendations on what it will take to get them clean. With this particular customer, she was a little bit frantic with the long list of tasks she needed to get done before her party. So, we focused heavily on the windows and were able to give her a price and plan within about 15 minutes.
Best Use of Budget
Our plan for her particular situation was for her to focus on the windows her guests would notice first and leave the rest of the window cleaning as a simple surface clean. This allowed her to keep her cost down and get the most for her event. Plus, by deep cleaning less windows, it allowed her to have us in and out for service quicker.
After she agreed to have us out to clean, we talked through what a maintenance plan would look like and how it could best suit her needs moving forward. We settled on maintaining her windows every quarter inside and out (deep clean) and a simple exterior cleaning every six months. This worked great for her and allowed her to have this off her plate for the next event.
Timely Scheduled Service
Our schedule doesn't always allow for a same week turn around in service, but this week we were able to put one of our window technicians on her job two days before her party. To say she was thrilled would be an understatement.
When working with our new and current window cleaning customers, our goal is to accommodate your schedule as much as physically possible. We have been known to work longer than normal days just to make sure your work gets done with the highest quality and in the most efficient manner.
